Commonwealth Short Story Prize is open for submissions

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1, 2023 — The 2024 Commonwealth Short Story Prize is now open for submissions from writers.

Any citizen of a Commonwealth country aged 18 and over is free to submit entries for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize.

The prize is awarded for the best piece of unpublished short fiction (2,000–5,000 words).

The overall regional winner receives £5,000 while the five regional winners will receive £2,500 each.

The deadline for applications is November 1, 2023.
