Reporters, data scientist, others needed at Business Day

Business Day newspapers is accepting applications for these roles: reporters, data scientist, digital subscription sales executive, and social media expert.

Graduates of English or Economics with excellent writing and communication skills can apply for the role of reporters.

For the data scientist role, applicants must have the knowledge of analytical tools and technical skills, strong writing skills and experience in a news room. The data scientist must also be experienced in creating, launching and testing new products.

The digital subscription sales executive must have a degree in Business or Marketing and a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Having an understanding of industry practices is also required.

Business Day seeks applicants with excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and KPIs to apply for the social media expert position. Applicants must also have an understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics, including experience with audience and buyer persona.
