ReportWomen radio programme resumes

The Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ) in partnership with NigeriaInfo radio group has resumed another quarter of the ReportWomen radio programme on 14 February 2020.

The ReportWomen radio programme discusses and engages on cross cutting issues of access and abuse affecting girls and women thereby increasing the quality and quantum of reports about girls and women in Nigeria.

The pilot of the programme commenced in July 2019 for 14 weeks and featured fifteen fellows based in Lagos.

The 2020 programme will be based on a story titled Spotlight on Teenage Mums taking second chance at life done by Kikelomo Oduyebo, a 2019 Female Reporters Leadership Programme Fellow and staff Lagos State Ministry of Information.

The conversation today which will also feature Gladys Osah from the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board focuses on giving teenage mothers a second chance in life through continuous education, vocational training programmes and awareness creation as well as the effects of teenage pregnancy.
