DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 25, 2022 — Reuters is hiring a journalist to join its Breaking News team in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The breaking news journalist must have a strong news judgement and a passion for speed and accuracy.
The successful candidate will work in Lagos and be on the front lines of the most important, competitive and exciting stories coming out of Nigeria.
In addition to understanding how global markets work and be familiar with Nigeria’s oil sector, financial markets and political affairs, the correspondent must be fluent in English.
Knowledge of Nigerian languages, French or Portuguese would be a plus.
Applicants must have at least three years’ experience working in a news organisation.
The deadline for applications is November 25, 2022.
