Solutions-focused gender equity reporting for journalists

DEADLINE: MAY 25, 2025 — Social Voices invites West African journalists to apply for virtual training to advance gender equity through solutions-driven reporting.

Through the training, supported by the Solutions Journalism Network, participants will learn to apply gender reporting frameworks, investigate systemic responses, use data and tell powerful, impactful stories.

Eligibility

• Open to journalists across West Africa
• Must demonstrate interest in gender equity and solutions journalism
• Must commit to attending all virtual sessions
• Completion of the programme is required to apply for the 2025 Reporting Gender Equity Fellowship (RGEF)
