Africa No Filter’s Voices for Climate Justice campaign open for entries

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 25, 2026  — Africa No Filter is inviting journalists and storytellers in Nigeria and nine other African countries to apply for the Voices for Climate Justice initiative.

The 12-month programme will support 15–20 storytellers with training, mentorship, content amplification and grants of up to $4,000.

The initiative will support stories exploring the links between climate justice, gender, debt and fossil fuels in Africa. Applicants can propose stories in formats including articles, videos, podcasts, murals and data visualisations.

Applicants must be 18 or older and based in one of the eligible countries, including Nigeria. They must also have an active platform that has been running for at least one year. Journalists can demonstrate reach through their publication’s circulation.

Selected participants must produce at least four pieces of content over a minimum of six months.

The deadline for applications is September 25, 2026
