DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 29, 2026 — Jamma Conservation and Communities invites journalists, filmmakers, photographers and audio storytellers to apply for its Human-Centred Conservation Storytelling Grant.
The conservation storytelling grant supports high-quality stories exploring conservation through people’s lived experiences in Africa.
Applicants can apply for up to USD 5,000 under Tier 1, USD 8,000 under Tier 2 or USD 12,000 under Tier 3.
Stories may focus on:
- Where Human-Centred Conservation works, and what enables it
- Where it falls short, and how the absence of these principles limits conservation outcomes
- The tensions, trade-offs, and lived experiences that sit between success and failure
Applicants must demonstrate a credible pathway for their proposed story to be published, broadcast or distributed through an established media outlet or independent platform.
The deadline for applications is September 29, 2026.
