DEADLINE: APRIL 14, 2023 — Agence France-Presse (AFP), a leading global news agency, is hiring a correspondent in Abuja, Nigeria.

The position is for an English-language correspondent based in Abuja, covering Nigeria, Ghana and French-speaking Benin and Togo.

Applicants must be fluent in English with a strong level of French to communicate with Benin and Togo correspondents and translate French stories coming out from the Lagos bureau.

The correspondent mush have demonstrated strong news judgment on breaking stories, with a keen eye for the visual and multimedia aspects to work closely with the photo, video and graphics departments.
