Africa Editor needed at China Dialogue Trust

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 —China Dialogue Trust (CDT) invites an Africa Editor to join its expanding team in Africa.

CDT will pay the editor a monthly salary of $2500.

The Editor will play a key role in commissioning and editing articles on the most pressing environment and climate issues in Africa, particularly in regards to China’s role on the continent.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in reporting and editing, as well as a keen interest in environmental and development issues.

The Editor must have excellent research, writing and editing skills; experience leading a news room, and experience in web publishing, social media and/or digital tools;

Applicants must have a high level of proficiency in English and working knowledge of local languages. Chinese language skills would be an asset.
