Rest of World is looking for a full-time regional editor to lead her coverage of the impact of tech on people, business, and the economies of Africa.
The regional editor must be energetic, enterprising, and experienced.
The organisation seeks people who are deeply curious about the world, tenacious and thorough in their approach to uncovering a good story or telling detail, and someone who can manage a group of local contributors.
Applicants must have over six years experience in journalism or publishing, with at least more than three years in editing.
Interested applicants must be fluent in English. Language skills that allow working with local reporters are a major plus.
