The AfroSports writing contest is targeted at increasing the information about African sports, games and recreational activities.
Winners will get prizes ranging from $50 to $500.
2023 Afrosports contest will be focusing on the English Wikipedia and 6 other African languages.
The African languages include, Igbo Wikipedia, Hausa Wikipedia, Dagbani Wikipedia, Yoruba Wikipedia, Swahili Wikipedia, and the Kinyarwanda Wikipedia.
