BBC Yoruba seeks video journalist in Lagos

DEADLINE: MAY 19, 2026 — BBC Yoruba digital service has a role for a video journalist in Lagos.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until March 31, 2027. Applicants must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service programme (NYSC) or hold a valid certificate of exemption.

The ideal candidate for the video journalist role will be a creative and versatile journalist, with a strong understanding of what makes good digital video and how video is consumed on digital platforms.

BBC is looking for a producer who is passionate about digital storytelling. Applicants must have a full command and up-to-date knowledge of written and spoken Yoruba and English.
