DEADLINE: AUGUST 3, 2025 — The Republic seeks applications for the Black Atlantic Editorial Fellowship, a six-month programme for the production of stories rooted in Blackness and the African experience.
Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of $500, mentorship and editorial support.
This remote fellowship will support five early- to mid-career editors, writers, researchers and/or journalists based in the different regions of Africa.
This fellowship is open to editors, journalists, curators or other storytelling practitioners who are based in Africa and have at least three years of professional experience.
The deadline for applications is August 3, 2025.
