Call for Applications: One Young World Journalist of the Year Award

The One Young World Journalist of the Year Award is now open for 2025 applications and nominations. This award highlights the work of young journalists who are fearlessly covering the truth, changing the way stories are reported and empowering others by giving them a voice.

The One Young World Journalist of the Year Award was created to identify and promote some of the world’s most impactful journalists changing how stories are reported and having a positive global impact.

Three winners will be presented the award at the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany, which takes place from November 3–6, 2025.

Winners will be chosen based on the work the young journalists have carried out in their countries and communities and its benefits and impact on young people.
