DEADLINE: AUGUST 17, 2022 —Journalists can submit entries for the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence (DAME), Africa’s longest-running media awards programme.
The awards for media excellence are in 24 categories, broadly grouped under Reporting, Commentary, Documentary-drama, Aesthetics, and Overall Awards.
Individual winners will receive DAME Plaque, Cash prize, Certificate of Merit, Professional tool (Laptop/Tablet) and Books while institutional winners will be awarded DAME Plaque and Certificate of Merit.
Entries must have been published in the Nigerian media in 2021.
Applicants should not enter more than two works in any particular category of the awards for media excellence.
