DEADLINE: AUGUST 31, 2021 —Nigeria Health Watch invites applications from journalists for the first cohort of solutions Journalism Fellowship in Nigeria.
Solutions Journalism aims to tell stories of how people are responding to different social problems and empower others experiencing similar problems with information on how they are being addressed.
The organizers of the fellowship will work with 10 newsrooms across Nigeria and onboard 10 fellows for 11 months.
Participants will be trained on how to produce solutions stories and will receive grant to produce any story of their choice (stories must be human interest and have health angles).
Applications are invited from individuals
affiliated with media organisations or freelancers.
Applicants must be passionate about telling stories of efforts to respond to various social problems especially around health.
The deadline for applications is August 31, 2021.
