Campus Journalists can apply for CNJF Workshop

DEADLINE: MARCH 5, 2021 — Cable Newspaper Journalism Foundation (CNJF) invites students from higher institutions across north-central Nigeria to apply for two-day workshop for campus journalists.

The workshop, which is the second edition, will be supported by Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA).

The training aims to hone the skills of campus journalists in up-to-date trends in investigative journalism, fact-checking and data reporting. Interested applicants must be students with flair for reporting and writing from across tertiary institutions in Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger and Plateau states and FCT.

Applicants must submit an essay of not more than 200 words, a CV, and three samples of journalistic or creative articles.

Outstanding participants will have access to small grants to pursue reporting projects.

The deadline for applications is on March 5, 2021.
