VACANCY: Fact-check editor, two reporters needed at TheCable

DEADLINE: MARCH 8, 2021 — TheCable invites fact-check editors and criminal justice system and climate change reporters to submit applications.

TheCable newspaper is partnering with GroundTruth, a non-profit organisation based in the United States which supports early-career journalists around the world through its Report for the World initiative (RFW).
Three successful candidates will be engaged for an initial period of one year, renewable yearly and possibly leading to a permanent contract under a new engagement.
Interested applicants must have relevant journalism experience and proficiency in modern, digital journalism.
The climate change reporter will help in educating Nigerians about what must be done to adapt and mitigate the effects of climate change.
Applicants must be based in Lagos or Abuja.

The deadline for applications is March 8, 2021.
