Community Journalism Fellowship opens for applications

DEADLINE: AUGUST 4, 2022 —Journalists based in Nigeria can apply for the second cohort of African Data Hub (ADH)’s Community Journalism Fellowship Programme.

The community journalism fellowship aims to improve the coverage of under-reported issues in local communities across Nigeria, with special attention on potential solutions.

Fellows will be supported with grants, capacity development and tools to produce in-depth data-driven stories.

The programme prioritises stories o  community health challenges, causes of hunger and extreme poverty, and more importantly stories of showing structural barriers women and girls face.

Freelance reporters and staff from all types of media organisations – international, national, local and community-based are encouraged to apply.

The deadline for applications is August 4, 2022.
