Data journalism and infographics training for campus journalists

DEADLINE: MARCH 27, 2023— Campus journalists in Nigeria can apply for a 6-week virtual capacity-building training on Data Journalism and Infographics.

The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) seeks applications from undergraduates of tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Applicants must be part of the Campus Reporter network with at least 10 months of writing and a minimum of two stories on the Campus Reporter website.

Selected campus journalists will receive data support.

Participants with compelling data story pitches will receive story grants.

The Data journalism and infographics training will also grant participants access
to mentoring and other support.

The deadline for applications is March 27, 2023.
