Dataphyte seeks applications for people-centred accountability reporting training in Bayelsa

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 11, 2026 — Dataphyte Foundation, with support from the Ford Foundation, is accepting applications for its two-day People-Centred Accountability Reporting Training for journalists in Bayelsa State.

The training will equip selected journalists with practical skills in data-driven and investigative accountability reporting, including using budget, procurement, audit and project data to investigate public spending and track government projects.

Participants will also learn about public finance, project monitoring, service delivery, citizen-generated data and the use of the Anfani Data Portal to produce evidence-based stories.

Only 20 journalists will be selected for the training.

The deadline for applications is September 11, 2026.
