DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 27, 2023— Deutsche Welle’s journalism traineeship seeks young people from all over the world interested in a comprehensive, exceptional quality journalism programme.
The traineeship will start in January, 2025 and end in June, 2026.
Candidates should have journalism experience or be passionate about switching to journalism from law, economics, the sciences or technology/IT.
DW Akademie is looking for open-minded people full of creative ideas.
To take place in Germany, the 18-month journalism traineeship covers different skills from TV moderation, multimedia storytelling, data journalism, social media to virtual reality.
DW trainees will work with the editorial teams right from the start, writing and producing reports, conducting interviews, managing social media channels and helping to produce TV and radio podcasts.
Knowledge of both German and English is mandatory. Candidates must have also completed a university or college degree or apprenticeship.
