Emerging Technology and AI Initiatives Manager needed at CJID

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 21, 2025 — The Centre for Journalism Innovation & Development (CJID) is hiring for the role of Emerging Technology and AI Initiatives Manager.

The role is hybrid and located in Abuja.

From proposal development to strategic planning and team leadership, the responsibilities of the manager include strategic planning, execution and oversight of initiatives that drive innovation at the intersection of technology and independent media.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Media Studies, Business Administration or a related field.

Having a Master’s degree is a plus.

Also required are proven experience in project management within technology-driven environments, demonstrated success in developing proposals and managing complex projects and familiarity with AI, machine learning, among others.
