DEADLINE: AUGUST 3, 2023 — Climate Tracker (CT) has a fellowship for African journalists passionate about climate change reporting.
The fellowship is for four journalists from Africa to join Climate Tracker’s global team of journalists covering the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference (COP28).
Interested African journalists must be between 18-35 years.
Climate Tracker (CT) is a non-profit organisation that aims to support, train and encourage more and better climate change reporting around the world.
For this fellowship, two fellows will travel and report on-site from Dubai while two other journalists will be selected for the online fellowship and will have the opportunity to report from their home countries.
Climate Tracker will organise a series of webinars and training sessions ahead of the conference.
To help applicants in putting their applications together, CT will be organising two webinars: Energy Transition in Africa and Energy Poverty in Africa on July 17 and 24, 2023, respectively.
