DEADLINE: MAY 10, 2024 — The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) wants CSOs and newsrooms to apply its “Just Energy Transition (JET) Minerals Challenge” Accountability and Open-Data Fellowship.
The fellowship, facilitated through CJID’s Natural Resource and Extractive Programme (NAREP), is for CSOs and newsrooms with a track record of advocacy and reporting on the mining and extractive sectors.
The fellowship aims to strengthen the civil society and media’s capacity to investigate opacity and corruption, and promote accountability within the extractives sector, particularly the mining of green minerals in Nigeria.
Preference will be given to applications from organisations with national/sub-regional coverage and organisations that nominate people living with disabilities.
The deadline for applications is May 10, 2024.
