Free training on how to fight disinformation

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 17, 2021 —Applications are invited for a series of free classes from experts on how to fight disinformation.

The training is spearheaded by Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab and Code for Africa.

Journalists, analysts, students, and any member of civil society interested in advancing their knowledge of open source techniques to monitor the information environment and address mis/disinformation can apply.

The series will be structured as follows:

✓ Investigating Information Operations (September 22)

✓ Social Media Analysis (October 6)

✓ Source Verification (October 20)

Participants who attend all three training sessions will receive certificates.

The deadline for registration is September 17th, 2021.
