
The Daily Influence is looking for an early-career freelance journalist to cover the creator economy.
The selected candidate will receive a salary of up to N400,000 per month.
The journalist will join the organisation on a six-month full-time freelance contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Reporting and writing news, features, and analysis on creator economy
- Covering campaigns, brand trips, regulation, and platform shifts
- Contributing to Dealbase (archive of creator -brand campaigns/events)
- Pitching and delivering original stories
Requirements
- Early-career journalist (recent grad or 1-2 years’ experience)
- Knowledge/interest in creator economy (UK, US + global trends, not just Nigeria)
- Strong reporting, research, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
