DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 4, 2023 — The Guardian, an international newspaper, is looking for an Africa Correspondent to report on stories from across Africa.
The organisation wants a correspondent who can cover culture, social issues, business and innovation, among other things, in Africa.
Interested applicants should be based in a major transport hub in West, East or Southern Africa.
The correspondent will commission and write news stories at short notice with quick turnaround, research and commission travel features, and also nurture relationships with columnists and outside contributors.
Applicants should have excellent knowledge and understanding of Africa’s populations and a strong track record of reporting and feature writing. Fluency in French, or other languages spoken across the continent, would be an advantage.
The deadline for applications is September 4, 2023.
