DEADLINE: JANUARY 7, 2022 –The Associated Press (AP) seeks an investigative reporter to report on the world’s oceans and fisheries.
With a demonstrated history of impactful investigative reporting, the investigative reporter will work as a newsperson based in Lagos, Nigeria.
The investigative reporter must be able to explain complex stories in clear and compelling ways and do so swiftly and accurately on tight deadlines.
Applicants should have at least five years of full-time experience as an investigative reporter or editor at a daily newspaper, broadcast station, online or digital news outlet, or an AP bureau or regional desk.
Interested applicants must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with an advanced-level professional competency in written and spoken English.
Professional competency in another language apart from English is a plus.
The deadline for applications is January 7, 2022.
