DEADLINE: JUNE 14, 2021—The Anja Niedringhaus Courage in Photojournalism Award invites applications from courageous women photojournalists.
The Award recognizes the importance of visual journalistic work that inspires us to take action and compels us to better understand the world.
The winner will be publicly honored, have her work showcased, and receive a cash prize of $20,000.
Interested applicants must be full-time journalists or freelance journalists and those affiliated with media organizations and must identify as women.
Nominations for the 2021 awards are open until June 14.
