Journalists can apply for development reporting awards

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 1, 2022 — Nigerian journalists can submit entries for the Africa Centre for Development Journalism (ACDJ)’s Development Reporting Awards.

The inaugural Development Reporting Awards are aimed at sub-national development reporting that focuses on inequality, underdevelopment, policy, and governance.

The award is open to interested Nigerian full-time or freelance journalists in broadcast (TV/radio), print or online media. Entries must have been published between October 1 2021 and September 30, 2022.

The public presentation of the awards will be held at an event as part of activities commemorating the 2022 Development Information Day as observed by the United Nations (UN).

The deadline to submit entries is October 1, 2022.
