DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 20, 2023 —Journalists in Nigeria can submit entries for the 32nd edition of the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence (DAME).
DAME, Africa’s longest-running media awards programme, celebrate media excellence in several categories, broadly grouped under Reporting, Commentary, Documentary-drama, Aesthetics, and Overall Awards.
Entry materials should be uploaded on the DAME website.
Individual winners will receive DAME Plaque, Cash prize, Certificate of Merit, Professional tool (Laptop/Tablet) and Books while institutional winners will be awarded DAME Plaque and Certificate of Merit.
Applicants should not enter more than two works in any particular category of the awards for media excellence.
DAME confers annual recognition on individuals and institutions for outstanding works in the media.
Entries include links to the published works, a one-page profile of the individual/organisation, and one-page background information on the entries. No more than two works should be entered in any particular category.
The deadline for applications is September 20, 2023.
