Journalists can apply for SciDev.Net free online science course

SciDev.Net invites journalists to enrol in free and self-paced online course on how to report about science to the public.

To build the capacity of journalists to report on science, the course uses short modules, exercises and examples, to teach journalists how to simplify science and interpret numbers for their readers.

The science course includes practical tasks designed to help participants apply media theory to their working practice.

Students will also have access to worksheets to support their learning where appropriate.

Upon completion of the course, students will be awarded certificates. The course is a self-paced online course in which students decide when to start and finish.

After enrolling, students will have unlimited access to the course for as long as they like across all devices.
