DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 16, 2021 — One World Media is accepting journalistic works that have been printed, broadcast or screened in the United Kingdom or internationally for its awards.
The One World Media Awards honour underreported stories on social, political or cultural life in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East and former Soviet republics.
The Awards recognise stories that break through stereotypes, change the narrative and connect people across cultures.
The competition is in 15 categories, and it celebrates work from all media platforms and across a wide range of genres and themes.
Journalists and filmmakers from anywhere in the world can apply.
Works published between February 13, 2020 and February 16, 2021 are eligible. Any entries not in English must be translated, subtitled or dubbed.
The deadline for submissions is February 16, 2021.
