DEADLINE: AUGUST 18, 2023 — African Women in Media (AWiM) invites applications for its Reporting Violence Against Women and Girls training programme.
All women-led media organisations in Nigeria can apply for this training that aims to equip journalists with the tools to report accurately and compassionately on VAWG.
The Violence Against Women and Girls training will focus on approaches to design, fast-track and implement gender-responsive policies.
Interested organisations must be women-led, must demonstrate a belief in the full realisation of women’s and girls’ safety from gender-based violence, must be non-government, non-political and not-for-profit (non-commercial) entities, and must have at least 2/3 of staff, volunteers, or members who are women or girls.
The deadline for applications is August 18, 2023.
