Reuters seeks breaking news correspondent in South Africa

DEADLINE: MARCH 20, 2024 — Reuters seeks a journalist with strong news judgement as its Breaking News Correspondent in South Africa.

The correspondent will be on the front lines of the most important, competitive and exciting stories coming out of South Africa.

The Breaking News Correspondent must have an understanding of how global markets work, financial markets and political affairs, and must be fluent in English. Knowledge of French or Portuguese would be a plus.

Applicants must have at least three years’ experience working in a news organization.
