The ideal reporter will be comfortable switching from reporting on business and politics to capturing cultural trends or the impact of climate change.
The Lagos-based position calls for a self-starter able to cultivate sources among key politicians, policymakers and business leaders as well as a passion for scoops and the ability to tell stories clearly and quickly.
Interested applicants must have at least five years of relevant journalism experience with proven understanding of how stories spread online, and experience writing elegantly for large online audiences.
Having good French language skills or/and speaking more than one local language will be added advantage.
This is a contract role and pay is based on several factors such as education, work experience, certifications, etc.
