Social Media and Engagement Editor needed at GIJN

DEADLINE: MAY 24, 2023 — The Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) is currently accepting applications for the position of Social Media and Engagement Editor.

The Social Media and Engagement Editor will aggregate and distribute investigative tips, tools, and resources over GIJN’s outreach platforms.

The position is remote and for four months from July to October 2023, with the possibility of an extension.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of professional social media experience in a newsroom or journalism-related organisation;
excellent English writing and editing skills, strong organisational skills and a detail-oriented personality.

Depending on experience and location, the Social Media and Engagement Editor will receive between USD $4,000 to $5,000 as salary.
