Media Career Development Network has launched its remote internship training programme for student journalists.
The move is in response to the limited placement opportunities for student journalists to undergo mandatory internship to enhance their practical knowledge of various skills.
The internship is designed to provide the participants with the rudiments of journalism as interns will get to network and learn from seasoned professionals.
Selected interns will gain hands-on experience through a mix of interactive teaching, practical experience, coaching, mentoring and exposure in the media industry.
The internship programme is for students of Mass Communication required to undergo internships.
Students from other departments interested in undergoing internships can also apply.
MDCN will assign interns to work with partner media organisations.
