Submissions are now open for the 2025 DIG Awards, an annual international competition for the best journalistic investigations and reportages in video and audio format.
The competition is organised by DIG Documentari Inchieste Giornalismi – ETS, a non-profit that supports investigative journalism through funding, research, promotion and education.
The DIG Awards encourage the work of reporters who use video and audio to investigate current social, economic, technological, environmental and political issues.
Though the DIG Awards are non-monetary prizes, the only category that offers a monetary prize is the DIG Pitch, which awards up to €15,000 in funding to a project that is currently in a pre-production or development phase.
An entry fee of €50 is required for each submission in all video and audio categories. But participation in the DIG Pitch category is free of charge.
The deadline for the video and audio categories is June 1, 2025, while that of Dig Pitch category is June 10, 2025.
