Tarbell Fellowship for early-career journalists

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 9, 2022 — Early-career journalists with ambition for impact, passion for journalism, and excellent writing skills can apply for the Tarbell Fellowship.

The Tarbell Fellowship, a one-year programme, seeks applications from early-career journalists from around the world.

Through the Fellowship, the organisers seek to create a community of journalists focused on covering what’s truly important and telling stories that matter.

The fellowship is full time and entirely remote.

Fellows will receive stipends of up to $50,000 to accelerate their journalism careers. They will also receive mentorship and training in best practices.

At the beginning of the fellowship (March 1st – March 14th 2023), fellows will attend a two week summit in Oxford. Travel and accommodation costs will be fully covered.

The deadline for applications is October 9, 2022.
