Vacancy: Head of advocacy and impact needed at openDemocracy

DEADLINE: JANUARY 17, 2021 — openDemocracy is currently accepting applications from journalists to fill the position of Head of Advocacy and Impact.

Proposed salary is within the range of £45,000 – £55,000

openDemocracy is a global media outlet that seeks an ambitious and enterprising impact editor to lead a step-change in the impact journalism has on the world.

Ambitious journalists, campaigners or communications experts with a flair for driving impact and inspiring change can apply.

Interested applicants must have an impressive track record in making positive change happen through journalism, broadcast media, policy, advocacy, campaigns, activism or other relevant areas.

The organizers strongly encourage applications from all groups that are under-represented in the media.

Applicants must have a strong commitment to openDemocracy’s mission to challenge power and inspire change

Interested applicants must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in media, campaigns, policy, communications or other fields relevant to openDemocracy’s work
