The Human Rights Journalists Network (HRJN) is set to host a webinar on digital surveillance, internet shut down, access to information in Nigeria.
The webinar will take place on April 12, 2022 (12:00-1:00 pm) during the annual Digital Rights Inclusion Forum organised by Paradigm Initiative.
The online session will be facilitated by Barr Solomon Okedara, a researcher who has a special bias for Human Rights, Data Protection & Privacy, Digital Identity, Access to Internet, Online Expressions and ESG.
Journalists will learn more about the state of Digital Surveillance in Nigeria, how it affects human rights and democracy, and how to address it.
