
DEADLINE: APRIL 4, 2026 — The 2026 Kwame Karikari Fact-Checking and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Fellowship is currently open for applications.
The fellowship is organised by DUBAWA and the Digital Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Information Disorder Analysis Centre (DAIDAC).
The fellowship is a three-month programme aimed at strengthening the capacity of journalists to tackle misinformation through fact-checking and OSINT techniques.
It is open to full-time journalists from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and The Gambia, fact-checkers or investigative journalists.
Female journalists and journalists with disabilities (PWDs) are strongly encouraged to apply for the 2026 Kwame Karikari Fact-checking and OSINT fellowship.
Selected fellows will receive training in digital verification, access to fact-checking tools, editorial support and the opportunity to publish stories that address information disorder in their countries.
The deadline for applications is April 4, 2026.
