
DEADLINE: APRIL 19, 2026 — The International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) has opened applications for the 2027 edition of the Elizabeth Neuffer Fellowship.
The fellowship is a fully funded programme for women, nonbinary and gender non-conforming journalists. It is open to journalists with a focus on human rights and social justice reporting.
It provides selected fellows with the opportunity to pursue academic work and professional development in the United States.
Applicants are required to have at least three years of full-time professional journalism experience. They must also demonstrate a strong commitment to reporting on human rights and social justice issues. Proficiency in English is required.
The fellowship covers travel costs, accommodation, health insurance and provides a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.
The application deadline is April 19, 2026.
