Abel Prize Travel Fellowships for science journalists

DEADLINE: APRIL 5, 2026 — The World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) is offering two travel fellowships for science journalists to attend the Abel Prize Week in Oslo, Norway.

The fellowships, offered in partnership with The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, will allow two journalists to participate in the celebrations surrounding the prestigious Abel Prize from May 25–28, 2026.

One of the travel fellowships will be awarded to a science journalist from anywhere in the world, and another will be awarded to a journalist based in Europe.

Applicants must be professional science journalists working as full-time staff or as freelancers.

The deadline for applications is April 5, 2026.
