DEADLINE: MARCH 23RD 2024 — Interested journalists from newsrooms are now able to apply for the Disability and Inclusion Reporting Workshop organised by the African Foundation for Young Media Professionals (AFYMP).
The hybrid workshop (virtual and physical) workshop is scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The workshop aims to educate journalists on how best to promote the rights and dignity of People with Disability (PwD) in media reports by accurately portraying inclusion and disability issues.
The workshop, according to AFYMP, will cover how to produce impactful, responsible and accountable stories and reports, etiquettes in investigating disability issues, language use and legal frameworks in disability reporting. etc.
