DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 25, 2021 — Female filmmakers are invited to submit entries for the 28th Women Make Waves Int’l Film Festival (WMWIFF).
The entry fee for submissions is US$10.
The festival will take place in October 2021 in Taipei, Taiwan.
WMWIFF aims to celebrate the achievements of outstanding female talents, to explore different aspects of women’s lives as well as to promote equality and rights of all genders.
Submitted films must have been completed after March 1st, 2019. Films should be directed by at least one female director.
Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.
Applicants are also advised to include English subtitles for English language films.
Films that have been submitted for consideration in previous years are not eligible.
When a film is selected, the festival will notify the applicant by email no later than June 30, 2021.
WMWIFF won’t cover any shipping costs during the submission stage. For selected films, the organizers will inly cover the print’s shipping costs to and from the original print source only.
The deadline for applications is Feb. 25, 2021.
