International journalists can apply for 2026 World Press Institute fellowship

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 15, 2026 — Professional journalists from around the world can apply for the 2026 World Press Institute (WPI) Fellowship.

Fellows must commit to a demanding nine-week cross-country programme that begins and ends in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota

WPI pays the following programme expenses: transportation, lodging, and food.

Applicants must have at least five years of full-time employment in print, broadcast or online journalism, and must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
