DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 27, 2022— Policy Alert seeks investigative journalism pitches from Nigerian investigative journalists for the #WetinWeGain #OpeningExtractives Reports pitch contest.
Applicants must submit data-informed and human-interest investigative journalism pitches.
The Policy Alert will provide funding support for four exceptional journalists over a two-month period.
Investigative journalists working anywhere in Nigeria in the print, electronic and digital/online media can partake in it.
The project recognises journalists’ roles in shining the light on institutions and actors in oil trading transactions, unearth and make meaning of the available data, and tell data-driven stories that can expose corruption, hold players accountable and point to solutions for strengthening reforms and improving service delivery.
The deadline for applications is November 27, 2022.
